High School Assembly Phil Boyte

Phil Speaking at a High School Assembly

Phil Boyte is an excellent motivational speaker for your next high school assembly. With over 25 years of experience delivering speeches to high school students, Phil has mastered the art of engaging students and delivering difficult messages. He regularly delivers both inspirational speeches and motivational speeches that impact students long after they leave the assembly.

With messages targeted specifically to high school students, Phil is able to start the transformation of your school culture. He focuses on creating a community of care and helping students understand the power of their dreams. Phil tackles difficult subjects in a way that both engages students and gets the message across by incorporating story telling, audience participation and memorable messages.
If your school is dealing with a particularly challenging problem, Phil is able to tailor your high school assembly to specifically address the issue.

High School Assembly Ideas

One of the skills that sets Phil apart from other high school speakers is that he is able to work with you to develop a very specific assembly for your school addressing your exact issues. His experience as a professional speaker has giving him the ability to change and modify his speeches to speak directly to your high school audience resulting in a high school assembly that resonates long after it is delivered.
In the past, some of the high school assembly topics he has addressed are:

• Creating a Community of Care
• Understanding the Power of Your Dreams
• Etc.

The Power of a Dream
As little kids we have lots of dreams, yet somewhere between elementary school and high school, many young people lose sight of those dreams.

In a powerful way, Phil, takes students on a trip down memory lane as they remember how they made earlier dreams come true and how they can do it again. They will laugh, some will cry, and they will understand again that if others can see their dreams come true, it is possible to see their own dreams happen. Phil blends in a message of how the distractions of cigarette use, drug and alcohol abuse, and negative self-talk can cause people to lose sight of their dreams.

“Phil, I remember you spoke to us last year and I still remember what you said about how we talk to ourselves. That was really powerful for me – I talk to myself very differently now.” – Kelly, Student, California

Leadership Workshops
For twenty years Phil has been in demand for on-sight leadership conferences. He teaches real life leadership skills in a fun and magical way. Recently it was an 80 student workshop with hula hoops and playground balls. These colorful props served as the back drop to his message on using all of your preparation time and the importance of rethinking the plan once more before presenting it to the audience.

These workshops vary in size and scope. Phil will present 90 minute sessions following assemblies at a school and at other times these are stand alone days for leaders. The stand alone days can be half day or full-day sessions. The best size for these workshops is 30-100. The value Phil brings in these sessions is a blend of great ideas (Dash for Cash Fundraisers) with practical leadership skills (the ability to Anticipate). Students and advisors walk away both motivated and with new tools and ideas to lead their programs more effectively.

Class Visits
A powerful option when Phil is on your campus is to have him visit classrooms following the assemblies. After the assembly the students are really tuned into Phil, and when he visits their classroom he is able to go to a deeper level than he can with students in the assembly. Phil will customize these chats depending on the classroom he visits.
